Carol McAlister
Carol McAlister is Assistant Manager of the Curricular Services Team of C2k, Northern Ireland. A native of Belfast, and a graduate of St Mary’s College, Belfast, she taught in a primary school for 11 years in Ballycastle, County Antrim. She was awarded a Diploma in Education by the University of Ulster in 1997, and in 2002 she graduated from Duquesne University, Pittsburgh with a Masters in Education Technology. She received the Professional Qualification for Headship in 2003. She worked with for three years as Field Officer for ICT with the North Eastern Education and Library Board, after which she was appointed Vice Principal of St Brigid’s Primary School in Ballymoney, County Antrim. She moved to C2k in January 2003, where she works in the field of technology in learning and teaching.
