Anne White
NCTE
Anne White is the National Coordinator for Digital Content with the National Centre for Technology in Education (NCTE). She is a primary teacher currently on secondment from St.Oliver Plunkett N.S. Malahide, Co. Dublin and also holds a degree in Computer Applications from DCU. She has developed and delivered many ICT professional development workshops and resources for teachers.
In her work with the NCTE, Anne is responsible for the area of digital content which involves developing and sourcing content related to all aspects of the Irish curriculum. Before teaching in Ireland, Anne held the position of ICT Coordinator in Marymount International School in Paris where she led the development of an integrated ICT approach to learning and teaching. She is very interested in the area of digital literacy in the curriculum, in particular its expression in the visual arts and music.
